3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 graham515 (536) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 11, 2010
Pours reddish gold into the glass with a small white head. Aroma is full of resin and citrus. Flavor is a very pleasant hops with a bit of malt leading to a bracing bitter finish. Body is a tad thin, but this beer is extremely quaffable. For hop heads that find IPA’s a bit boozy in the summer, this beer is for you!
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 patrick767 (3169) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 20, 2010
bottle - Pours hazy copper with a one finger off-white head. It smells mainly of hops with notes of citrus. The flavor is moderately bitter with a solid malt balance. There’s lingering bitterness and it’s not crisp which makes me think this beer should be consumed as fresh as you can get it. Decent brew.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 thedm (4773) - Fort Wayne, USA - JUN 17, 2010
Thispretty purple metallic labelled bottled brew marked bbf 01 04 10 from a rating party poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized bubbles that were and left behind a typically carbonated slightly hazy orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma was musty. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The strange flavor contained notes of floral coriander hops and malt.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jaghana (2829) - Strasbourg (France), FRANCE - MAR 19, 2010
On tap at the Porterhouse, Dublin. An amber beer with nice head. A very nice and impressive ale, the hops flavours are impressive and well balanced, not too heavy, with citrus notes. A very nice surprise, to be tried ever !
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 leaparsons (7074) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2010
Bottle. Copper with a thin foam. Aromas are woody pine with floral, spicy notes. Very resinous green hops, like a pine tree car air freshner. Flavours are bitter green pine hops with lots of herbal spiciness. Some hints of toffee malt sweetness. Bitter on the finish with a dry, woody aftertaste.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 wyzzywyz22 (1644) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - MAR 2, 2010
Draught, Porterhouse, Dublin. Not the most original name for a beer it seems, with 54 other brews sharing the moniker, but luckily its not a bad drop at all. Reddy amber looks with a small off white head. Plenty of citus hops in the nose and the flavour with a sweet malt spine. Pleasing bitterness. Pleasantly drinkable and definitely one of the best Irish beers I’ve tasted.

1.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 harrisoni (10911) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2010
Bottle at Porterhouse, Covent Garden. Maybe I got a bad bottle of this, but I didn’t like this at all. Deep gold, lasting thick ivory head. Very hoppy very bitter but the hops have an odd pine bleach flavour to it that is most unattractive. Like a radox bath salt. Could be a belter of a pale ale, but turns inot something almost undrinkable. Poor.
