15th December 2010 Clear amber beer, frothy white head. Softish palate. Mildly tangy orange. Splash of tea and then a sweet piney orange finish. All over the place but very drinkable and strangely endearing!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Gerbeer (890) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 7, 2012
330 ml bottle. Pours a clear orange/brown with very little head. Aromas malt and grapefruit, heavier on the malt. Similar flavors with a bit of caramel and pine. Nice bitter finish. Hoppy for a European brew, which also makes it nice compared to some of the hop overloads in North America. Tasty.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Gethinbeer (1836) - Musky, Nova Scotia, CANADA - SEP 30, 2012
Very pleasant hop aroma of fruit and wine gums. Copper colour with a frothy white aroma. Thin texture , yet still very nice. Just expected more from experiencing the initial aroma. Cross between a traditional British style IPA with the aroma of an American version. One of the best IPA?s ive sampled from that side of the pond and definitely in Ireland.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Bendrixian (711) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - SEP 15, 2012
Clear amber colour with a slightly laced appearance. Very big aroma, considering I thought this was over filtered. Showing big hoppy notes --> pine cone and slight citrus goodness with a malted/caramel like backbone and a hint of funk. the palate is bitter, medium bodied, slight malted/caramel like backbone, again, with a dry hopped finish. it surprisingly expressive givin’ the style and clarity of the beer as well as the somewhat low alcohol level. it is a decent brew, just not worth the big bucks.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Sigmund (4280) - Tau, NORWAY - SEP 14, 2012
330 ml bottle with tear-off cap, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5%. Malts are pale, crystal, wheat and black. Hops are Pilgrim, Nugget, Cascade and Centennial. Orange to amber colour, large white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity / citrussy American hops. The fairly dry flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, with grapefruity and resinous notes, and a sharp bitterness in the finish.
