Rune (1639), Tromsø, Norway Sep 1, 2008 Draught. Third pint measured glass on a sample tray at Porterhouse, Covent Garden London. Creamy, off-white head on top of a black body with some ruby highlights. Great laceworks on the glass. Smell of roasted grain. The taste is bitter with salty hints, but also some brief notes of sweetness can be spotted. Silky, but a bit thin, mouthfeel. Well made brew (05.08.2008). fata2683 (86), APO, New York, USA Aug 22, 2008 really good stout. Not a whole lot of oyster present maybe a little sea water in the aftertaste. This is very creamy and lightly bitter. Good. caesar (2498), Zeist, Netherlands Aug 13, 2008 Tap @ Porterhouse. Dark color, short head. Creamy and milky texture. Chocolat, smooth coffee, milky. Decent drink. Bart (1369), Vosselaar, Belgium Aug 9, 2008 Darker brown almost black coloured beer with an average off-white head. Herby, very special aroma with some spicy roasted touches. Almost black with a creamy head.
Salty and burnt aroma.
