Draught. Third pint measured glass on a sample tray at Porterhouse, Covent Garden London. Creamy, off-white head on top of a black body with some ruby highlights. Great laceworks on the glass. Smell of roasted grain. The taste is bitter with salty hints, but also some brief notes of sweetness can be spotted. Silky, but a bit thin, mouthfeel. Well made brew (05.08.2008).

really good stout. Not a whole lot of oyster present maybe a little sea water in the aftertaste. This is very creamy and lightly bitter. Good.

Darker brown almost black coloured beer with an average off-white head. Herby, very special aroma with some spicy roasted touches. Full palate. Finish is again herby/ spicy with some light roasted alcoholic hints. Not bad.

Draught at Porterhouse Central; dublin. Almost black with a creamy head. Salty and burnt aroma. Salty seaweed and some weird heather in the flavour.
