On tap at the wharf. Dark almost opaque brown, light red edges and a beige head. Aroma of toffee, malt and some coffee. Flavour of dry malts and something secretly sweet. Body is thin to medium. Finish is very smooth and balanced.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
It poured a brown color with a beige head. The aroma was of malts, breadiness and some fruits. The taste was of roasted malts, grains, chocolate, some hint of oyster juice and smoke. Very different.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
med dark brown color. Slightly briny, thin body, lingering oyster and slightly roasty notes. Very boring and not a real stout.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: roasted malts and something I can’t quite describe - maybe the oysters? Appearance: black with long lasting creamy small head. Taste: light sweet and bitter. Palate: sweets continue at first the the bitters start to dominate, medium to long dry finish. Overall: OK Oyster Stout, maybe a bit in the light side. Pint at the Porterhouse Covent Garden, London.

Smells oily and kind of fishy. Was in bottle. Strong spicy taste with dry oyster palate.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
BB 16.02.15, 330ml bottle. Pours black with ruby highlights. The head is light tan and disappears quickly. Aroma is mild caramel, toasty, slight sweetness, some fruits maybe. Taste is roasted malt, coffee, slight sweetness. Finish is some dark chocolate bitterness and salt. Overall: nice light beer would go really nice with some oysters.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Small bottle with that evil finger destroyer cap that splits into shards with razor sharp edges. However, the beer itself is not bad. Has a dark brown body with a medium head. Smooth roasty aroma with some black mud and very light vinous notes. Sweet roasty taste with light coffee, cola and berries. Juicy finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Pacific Liquor in North Park: Created a thick fluffy layer of foam topping while the liquid was a dark brown almost black color. In the aroma, there is a sweet scent of chocolate and a roasted down malt profile that reminds me a lot of how a Guinness smells. The flavor is creamy and has a taste of chocolate and wafer which taste a lot like Whoppers malted milk balls. I had been saving this stout for quite a few months now because I had wanted to drink it while eating some raw oyster, but just couldn’t wait any longer.

3.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great drinkable stout, resembling Porter fresh tingle and with a salty aftertaste and aroma.
