Brewed with fresh oyster. A smooth drinking aromatic stout with a discernible but unidentifiable aromatic aspect. Not suitable for vegetarians. This gently flavored stout has a roast malt character, full body and an aromatic character from the Goldings hops. Fresh oysters added during the brewing process, lend a discernible yet unidentifiable note.

Bottle. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid roasted malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture with lively carbonation. Medium roasted malt chocolate flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good and my expectations where met.

Tap @ Porterhouse, London.
Pours brown with an impressive, very creamy, off-white head. Mild aroma of nuts and soft roasted malts. A bit light in mouthfeel with an okay creaminess. Flavour is nice, sweet chocolate, lightly roasted and good long, dry finish. Some lidt tart fruitiness.

Keg (Porterhouse, Dublin) Almost black, nitro head. Nitro deadens the aroma, but there’s still plenty of coffee and malt in it. Very pleasant in the mouth, viscous, and almost warming despite the cold, probably due to the sweetness. Good solid sweet stout. The oysters do impart something to the flavour, but it’s hard to say what - maybe what an iodiny sea-shore aroma would taste like?

Sampled at the brewery. Typical stout flavor with hints of salt water. Bit thinnish but nevertheless a very nice beer.
