Bottle. Poured clear dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid roasted malt aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture with lively carbonation. Medium roasted malt chocolate flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good and my expectations where met.

Keg (Porterhouse, Dublin)
Almost black, nitro head. Nitro deadens the aroma, but there’s still plenty of coffee and malt in it. Very pleasant in the mouth, viscous, and almost warming despite the cold, probably due to the sweetness. Good solid sweet stout. The oysters do impart something to the flavour, but it’s hard to say what - maybe what an iodiny sea-shore aroma would taste like?

On tap at The Porterhouse, pours a near black with a red tinge and a small tan head. Nose is pretty restrained, with light oats and toasted malt. Flavour is quite restrained as well, with oats and just a hint of the oysters. Smooth on the palate, dry and creamy. Decent but nothing special.
