Brewed with fresh oyster. A smooth drinking aromatic stout with a discernible but unidentifiable aromatic aspect. Not suitable for vegetarians. This gently flavored stout has a roast malt character, full body and an aromatic character from the Goldings hops. Fresh oysters added during the brewing process, lend a discernible yet unidentifiable note.

Bottle. Dark brown in colour, brown head. Aroma of chocolate, sweet with touch of coffee and fruits. In taste lightly sweet, with chocolate and roasted coffee, slightly sour from roasted malts. Light bodied, bit watery, maybe lightly salty in finish. Nice, drinkable stout.

Rating #2187 - 2015.11.18 - Bottle @7Degrees Beer School. Dark, dark brownish copper poor with a weak tan foam that bubbles away super quickly. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, and caramel. Taste is roast malts, with a hint of caramel sweetness. Overloaded with toasted malt and bitterness, well balanced oyster cloister.

Piana gęsta, wysoka, utrzymująca się, zdobi szkło. Kolor brunatny. Zapach słodki, czekoladowy, jednka w smaku trochę bardziej wytrawne niż słodkie. Przede wszystkim jest znaczna kawowa kwaśność, trochę kawowej goryczy i tylko nikła nuta czekolady. Jak na styl dość wysoko nasycone. Trochę wodniste z lekkim posmakiem umami, zapewne od ostryg.

Draft at Porterhouse, Covent Gardens. Dark brown with a thick, tan head. Lace coats the glass. Bitter coffee and malt. A bit of a smoked sea salt type of note comes through as well. Fairly thick and creamy, nice overall mouthfeel.

Dark brown color with a tall airy light tan head. Briny roasted malt aromas. Somehow I feel I am smelling a light stout while sitting dockside. Quite light in feel. Light roasted malt, molasses, and mild smoked salty meat. Easy to drink, yet fairly complex. A light nearly quenching type stout. 3/10

Blackish beer with ruby relfexes, big tanned head. Aroma: Some chocolate, hint of coffe, at the beginning, minimal fruity esters> taste: Hint of sweet, some light sour, balanced bitter. Very well balanced beer. Hint of cocoa, and something... different. I quess thats from the oysters. Like salty. Palate: light to medium body as well as saturation, smooth, dry. Overall: nice drinkability, but average stout.

Malty, roasty, slightly smokey aroma and something like sweetish baker’s yeast that could be the oysters. Same special component in taste again, with roasty, malty, bitter notes. Long bitter finish. Interesting aroma and taste at a quite low abv.
