COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with fresh oyster. A smooth drinking aromatic stout with a discernible but unidentifiable aromatic aspect. Not suitable for vegetarians. This gently flavored stout has a roast malt character, full body and an aromatic character from the Goldings hops. Fresh oysters added during the brewing process, lend a discernible yet unidentifiable note.

Pours dark with a frothy head, slight smoked oyster aroma mixed in with the usual stout scent. Taste is smooth, chocolatey, nutty and delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at The Penny Black, Naples. Pours dark brown with a thick creamy tan head. Aroma of roast, light coffee, fudge, malt, milk chocolate and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours a dark brown with a mirco-head and spotyy lacing. The taste is of toasted malt and some bitterness with some floral flavs. I detected a little saltiness in the back ground, and it was ok. If you live near the ocean, you’ll know the taste.

This glass of draft beer came from the Porterhouse brewpub across the street from Trinity College In the glass it was black but when held up to the light showed to be a dark garnet red. Big tan head. Really thick and sticky lacing. Nose of roasted malts. Bold body and a really creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is roasted malts, and while i could not detect oysters, there is something unique in the flavor. Nice bitter finish. Really good beer. Loved this one.

Aromes dolços de malta, llaminera, també amb un petit toc de salnitre. En boca el salnitre es fa més evident sembla com a pipes, també s’aprecia clarament sabors torrats de regalèssia i cafè. Bona cervesa.

Draught. Black colour, fantastic thick brown head with very good lacing. Aroma is dominated by something strange, I guess it comes from oysters, but I don’t like it. Roasted finish. Light sweetness. I prefer classic stouts.

Bottle. Opaque black beer with a large beige head. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel, toffee, chocolate and molasses. Flavor is malty with notes of caramel, minerals, herbs, nuts and bread. Well balanced and fantastic aftertaste.

Draft pour at the Porterhouse brewpub in Temple Bar, Dublin. A deep red to black beer in color, with a light head. I feel there is a metallic element here, akin to iron. Not sure how the oysters affect this stout but you can tell that there is something organic and nautical going on. Creamy mouthfeel, goes down smoothly. Pairs nicely with the brewpub’s excellent oysters and mussels!

A good-looking dark Stout that retains it’s creamy head well. it is malty with some roastiness - creamy, and slightly sweet. Easy to drink but not so easy to drink more than 2 - pretty heavy
