Brewed with fresh oyster. A smooth drinking aromatic stout with a discernible but unidentifiable aromatic aspect. Not suitable for vegetarians. This gently flavored stout has a roast malt character, full body and an aromatic character from the Goldings hops. Fresh oysters added during the brewing process, lend a discernible yet unidentifiable note.

Draught. Clear very deep dark red-brown colour. Beautiful creamy beige steady light brown head, which lasts for a long time and leaves a very nice lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, smoke and coffee. Good mouthfeel. Pleasant roasted maltiness in the flavour with some smoked turf, coffee, and a pleasant soft bitterness. Dry roasty bit smoky finish. Yum!

12oz bottle from 1 for the Road in Wexford, PA. Beautiful 6 inch head that lasts through to the final swallow. No fishy odors or taste, just a hint from the ingredients that the oysters are the secret within the uniqueness of this fine stout. In this eon of unusual and diverse stouts, it’s good to know that the folks at Porterhouse have not gone overboard with dressing up a good Irish stout.

On draught: fresh, creamy, smooth, coffee, a lot of taste and after taste, not very strong in alcohol.

First time I tasted this I loved it straight away. Seemed like your average stout but there was something sweeter on the finish. Totally unidentifiable but I can only assume it was the oysters. Great bottle of beer.

Delicious Stout with all the traditional qualities you expect from a good stout. Brewed with oysters, you get just a bit of brineyness in the flavor profile. Overall interesting and tasty experience. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aromes dolços de malta, llaminera, també amb un petit toc de salnitre. En boca el salnitre es fa més evident sembla com a pipes, també s’aprecia clarament sabors torrats de regalèssia i cafè. Bona cervesa.
