Draught. Small brown head. Aroma is mostly dark chocolate. Slight bitterness, light sweetness. Creamy texture. I prefer something more intensive in taste.

Black colour witha a tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and a hint of dark chocolate. A soft roasted smell with some vanilla. Taste of dirt, roasted malt, some old coffee and a slight hint of dark chocolate and vanilla. A distinct roasted bitterness. Somewhat thin and watery taste. Light to medium body. Overall a good dry stout, although a better aroma than taste.

Geruch relativ schwach, leicht säuerlich. Röstaromen, kalter Kaffee, Asche. Geschmack nicht so kräftig, ebenfalls schwach säuerlich. Vermisse die Schokoladenaromen und etwas mehr Süße.

Tasting served at Porterhouse’s Temple Bar brewpub in Dublin, Ireland. Despite the name this is tagged as a stout. In reality, it is a hybrid porter/stout, with a fairly thin yet smooth mouthfeel. Nice coffee/chocolate malts in here with a lightly hopped finish. Decent.

Maybe not the best stout in the world as it obviously got that award twice. Good, burnt flavors and stylish bitterness. Unfortunately, something thin and watery.
