"At last an Irish Red Ale with a traditional hop flavour to balance the fruit character of the yeast and the luscious caramel flavour notes delivered from the malts used, as opposed to artificially added."
Ingedients: Pale, Crystal, Wheat and Chocolate Malts; Galena, Nugget and East Kent Golding hops.

[2147-20090515] Tap. Smells like peas and uncooked meat. Clear, red orange body with a thick long-lasting creamy off-white head and thick lacing down the sides. Mild veggies and yeast flavour. Medium body. Average.

2009-05-15. Dark amber red body with a good sized creamy cream coloured head and very good lace. Flavour is more bitter than I expected with a sharp bitterness on first sip, sweeter malt undertones feels just a touch to thin to balance the bitterness. Aroma is muted, non-descript hops and malt. Average palate is smooth, lightly carbonated. Okay. On tap at the brewpub.

Un jus de chaussette en arrière gout, une amertume assez prononcée, des bulles peu existante. Pas séduit par cette bière.
