"At last an Irish Red Ale with a traditional hop flavour to balance the fruit character of the yeast and the luscious caramel flavour notes delivered from the malts used, as opposed to artificially added."
Ingedients: Pale, Crystal, Wheat and Chocolate Malts; Galena, Nugget and East Kent Golding hops.

(Covent Garden Location, London) Clear light copper body topped by a creamy off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is mild, medium sweet. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, coffee, some nutty, light chocolate. Smooth, light-medium body.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2013 Draught at "PorterHouse" - (Covent Garden) London . Compact foam, smooths down and homogenous, typical of the irish dry. Burnt red color, firm and little shining. Scent of burnt wood, coal and parched malt. Extremely bitter and dry taste. Much smooth and dried. Bitter and singed end, long duration.

[Draft at Porterhouse, London] A deep red beer with a beutiful lasting creamy off-white head. The aroma is slightly sour malty with hints of roastyness. The flavor is sweet malty with loads of caramel notes, but also roasted malt and hops giving it a fresh bitter end. The mouthfeel is very creamy.

Draught at the Proterhouse in London: Small layer of a frothy head which lasts long. Light red color. Bubbles clinging in the shape of a worldmap on the glass.Toffee nose and cellery taste. So trivial.

Draft at the Porterhouse in London. Uncarbonated, transparent and a red hue. Aroma was malty and hoppy and the flavor was bitter, malty and hoppy. Smooth and somewhat of a dry mouthfeel. Medium bodied beer with excellent lacing.

Light nose, auburn color, nitro-tap creamy head. Quick light toasted malt with some caramel in the middle. Then a flash of bright hops comes and goes quickly, giving way to a metallic finish. Nice effect, but thin and not that clean overall.

Dark reddish appearance, good head formation. Malty, fruity aroma. Sweet malty caramel palate, decent flavor, medium bodied, good bitter bite in the finish. Respectable.

The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 20. This draft brew from the Porterhouse brew pub in London poured a small sized head of foamy white colored finely sized bubbles that left behind an excellent lacing and a uncarbonated transparent red brown colored body. The aroma was mild with malt hop sweaty sock notes and the mouth feel was smooth with a mild malt hop flavor.

REddish copper colour with a white nitro head. Nice malty caramel and a faint slightly musty, lightly smoky aroma. Some peatiness. Flavour is malt-dominated, some sweetness, light fruitiness and a hint of bitterness. A slightly sour character as well. Quite refreshing.
