"At last an Irish Red Ale with a traditional hop flavour to balance the fruit character of the yeast and the luscious caramel flavour notes delivered from the malts used, as opposed to artificially added."
Ingedients: Pale, Crystal, Wheat and Chocolate Malts; Galena, Nugget and East Kent Golding hops.

Dublin-07. Copper colour with creamy beige head. A bit of malty/nutty taste, but not enough to convince me to ever drink this one again.

Dark copper color with a medium head. Barely any discernable aroma. Very rich malt taste with a strong nuttiness. Chalky mouthfeel.

Has a creamy off white head like all other Irish ales on tap. Brownish red color to it. Mostly bready with some floral aroma. Rather malty right up front and there are definitely hops as well. Balanced well enough, but not one of the best Irish ales, which I drank.

Draught@The Porterhouse, London. Amber colour, mediumsized creamy and thick beige head. Wooden and slightly fruity hoppy aroma. Flavour is flowery and wooden along with some slight hoppy and caramelly hints. Refreshing, but nothing that special.

Tap, Porterhouse London. Dark copper with a thin creamy white head. Slightly malty hop, low on aroma. Mouth is quite alcoholic (?) with strong malts. Quite smooth, slightly dry on palate.

Tap. Beautiful creamy head. Nice brown body. Balanced aroma of fruit and coffee. The flavour contains much coffee, some chocolate and a some sweet fruit. A full palate. Interesting combination of fruit and coffee, it works well here. I get a stout-feeling from this beer. (Porterhouse Dublin, 16.03.07)
