"At last an Irish Red Ale with a traditional hop flavour to balance the fruit character of the yeast and the luscious caramel flavour notes delivered from the malts used, as opposed to artificially added."
Ingedients: Pale, Crystal, Wheat and Chocolate Malts; Galena, Nugget and East Kent Golding hops.

On a Nitro tap. Red with nice creamy head. Malty aroma. Sweet, caramel, and hops. Pretty simple, but quite drinkable. Nitro makes it really smooth. I imagine it would feel a bit thin and bland without the Nitro.

Keg @ Porterhouse. Brownish red color with a small off-white head. The nose is very faint, and I’d be generous to describe it having notes of caramel, brown sugar, toast, and light singed grass. The taste is amazingly simple - caramel. Not much else. Some light bitterness. Active, swishy carbonation on the tongue. Overall, not bad, just completely forgettable.

Draft at Gingerman. Clear deep amber pour with a tight, creamy off white head. The flavor profile is caramel malts and earthy hops. One dimensional, but nicely balanced. Coarse husky grains on the finish, lagerish.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a smallish head. Nose has a lot of malty caramel in there. Taste has a hint of sweetness without being overpowering. Interesting, and almost with a bite to it.

Sample at Porterhouse Central. The beer pours a clear reddish-amber color with a medium eggshell white head that dissipates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of caramel malt and hops. Light body with flavors of earthy malt, toffee and hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Very grainy and bland overall. The pour is a bright golden amber with a fluffy sticky off white head. The nose is grainy, light caramel malts, cereal malts and a mild hop. Really not much going on, but a nice mild and bland malty brew.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear red/brown with very little head. Aromas of dry cereal and grass. Flavor of toasted malt, grass/hay, sugar water, and biscuit. Slightly acidic. Not much to write home about.

330ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a finger of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and grass with a touch of citrus. Taste is a sharp grassy hop bitterness with an underlying caramel malty sweetness and a hint of citrus bitterness in the finish. A decent red ale, but something just isn’t quite right, but cannot put a finger on it.
