Draft at Gingerman. Clear deep amber pour with a tight, creamy off white head. The flavor profile is caramel malts and earthy hops. One dimensional, but nicely balanced. Coarse husky grains on the finish, lagerish.

Pint at The Porterhouse, Covent Garden, London (Ł4.10):
Not a bad tasting beer, pretty much as you would expect from the style and the brewery without it truly excelling or standing out from the crowd. The beer had quite a good balance and a nice, easy-going flavour with some good earthy malts and sweetness but it’s probably not one I’d seek out again.

Bottle. Hazy deep red-orange, off white head. Toasty sweet caramel, vague fruit nuances, lightly bitter finish.

Brown/dark reddish color with a light beige head with medium retention and moderate lacework. Aroma has notes of toasted malts with some dry fruits. Flavor with eartthy notes, some caramelish and dry fruits, toasted malts as well. Slightly caramelish and bittery final.

Clear copper color with nice foam head. The smell is ambery but not convincing. The taste is well carbonated, malty sweet but not too well done. Not too special. Little dry aftertaste.

Clear amber color with big head. Aroma of caramel malts, toffee, a bit berries. Taste is dry, very dry, bitter caramel, a bit nutty. Carbonation is rather high for a classic ale. I like Red Ales and I like dry stuff, but this one?s a bit too dry for a red ale balance. Pleasant aftertaste though.

Pitew 2014r butelka 0,33l. Kolor ciemnobursztynowy, piana średnio mocna. Aromat owocowy z odrobiną orzechów. Smak karmel i owoce, trochę metaliczy. Nagazowanie dobre. Piwo pijalne, dobre.

On tap at The Porterhouse, pours a clear copper orange with a creamy beige head. Nose and flavour are very very restrained, with light dry bready malt and toffee. Not much to this, but the palate is creamy and silky. Decent enough for what it is.

Beautiful deep red color and crystal clear. The beer pours a layer of creamy foam. The smell is nice. It has a smell of sour cream, special but nice. The taste is great. It has a creamy sensation. It has some tones of strawberry milkshake, really special. The sour cream smell also reminds of milkshake. Besides sweet milkshake you can taste a real red ale, bitter and firm. Nice.

33 cl. bottle. Clear, copper colour with a fluffy, off-white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malts, fruits, caramel, chocolate, nuts and grasses. Faint citrus. Taste is lightly bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and slightly bitter with toasted malts, fruits and subtle liquorice. Nice Irish.
