Creedence (127) - Cork, IRELAND - APR 14, 2013
Taster at Porterhouse Cork. Pours a pale golden with a lasting white foam. Aroma is very malty - grass and hay, with a slight acidic fruitiness. Quite a full malty taste, but not much else. Nice lively carbonation, not too much of an aftertaste. Basically a less watery version of the Chiller. Grand, probably better than 95% of macro lagers, but nothing special.

Sample at Porterhouse Central. Pours a clear pale gold color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of malt and mild hops. Light body with flavors of grainy malt and grassy hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hops aftertaste. Just average overall.

On tap at the porterhouse central in Dublin. Typical lager, nothing impressive. I don’t recommend it.

berkshirejohn (3639) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2012
Tap at the Porterhouse, Covent Garden. A typical lager look, straw with a white head; crisp grainy aroma; clean grainy taste with some short bitterness before a floral finish. Not bad, particularly on a hot day, and certainly better than the average macro lagers.
