COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
We created this beer to celebrate the opening of The Porterhouse in Covent Garden, London, in July 2000. We brewed a traditional style pale ale with a modern interpretation using a single variety of New Zealand hop, the Sticklebract.

Cask@The Porterhouse, London. Amber coloured, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is big sweet fruity and flowery hops along with a bit of wood. Flavour is very big grassyness along with some fruits and caramel. Really nice one. Kind of reminded me of Beer Hunters MufloN ZPA.

Tap. Smal dead head. Nice brown body. Aroma with nuts and som unidentified sweet rotten smell. A bit too sweet flavour. Nut is dominating but there are hints of fruit. Gets better after a while, though. Ok average finish. (Porterhouse Dublin, 16.03.07)

Red-brown in colour as per a typical bitter. Thin clean mouthfeel with plenty of malt. Doesn’t dry the pallet at all and would make a great session beer.

On tap at Porterhouse. Quite eggy taste. Bitter. Sweet, toffee flavour and fruity nonetheless.
