Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Bitternes is peat - smoke. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (040808)

Sep 8, 2008 Cask at GBBF08. Clear dark chestnut colour. Good frothy white head. The flavour starts off roasted, turns a little spicy but not very good. Slightly rough bitterness in the finish.

Aug 16, 2008 Cask. Low fluffy off-white lasting head. Clear amber body. Mild malt aroma with a heavy hops aroma. Pretty sharp and hops dominated flavor with low carbonation and a long aftertaste.
