A step up from the Oyster Stout, Wrasslers features a deeper dark chocolate nose that pairs remarkably with rich noble hops and a hint of Roquefort. Balanced on the palate, its agreeable coffee and hop bitterness shares the tongue with a hint of orange peel. A relatively one-dimensional stout but that dimension is quite enjoyable, and surely the most full-flavored of Porterhouse’s offerings. An elegant ale and at 5% one that I could drink several pints of. mike1977ok (637), Netherlands

Full flavoured dry stout with the alcohol rearing it’s head amongst the malty, treacle-like taste. Very bitter aftertaste that dries out the pallet very quickly. Not suited for a session. altonbrownd (1891), Amsterdam, Netherlands

It looks very much like a Guinness. The smell is of wheat and the taste is quite bitter, as well as chocolate. Very foamy, nice and black. With smooth finish. fonefan (11109), VestJylland, Denmark

The aroma is dry and roasty with some cream effect from the head. The taste is very dry and burnt but there is also a bittering hop quality to add to the burntness. A strongly flavoured quite decent beer. labologist (55), Bramhall, England

Opaque black, good chocolaty brown whisp cream head. Smokey and chocolaty nose. Roasted, licorice flavors. Medium to full-bodied. Like a little brother of Mikkeller’s Breakfast Stout. Long hoppy aftertaste. bluevegie (2190), Perth, Australia
