330ml bottle pours black in color with a light brown head that leaves some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasted grains with hints of coffee and chocolate. Taste is a bold roasted grain, coffee and hop bitterness with a dark chocolate sweetness. Medium to heavy body with some decent carbonation. One of the best Irish stouts that I have sampled to date, well done.

Some graininess and heft to the aroma. Looks great. The flavor is all over the place but it works. Thick roasty malt, some smoke and a quite a bit of sweet hops on the back end. Pairs perfectly with the macadamias I’m eating
Excellent.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2013 Láhev 330 ml.

Bottle: Very dark amber coloured, ruby spots detectable,mid-sized loose tanned head, dried dark fruits, roasted malt, ashes and freshly ground coffee in the bitter nose; solid dry bitter flavour, barely medium bodied; heavily lingering bone-dry coffeeish and bitter finish. Wow, what a Stout…
