Had on draft at the brewery. There were notes of caramel, some slight astringency, fruity, diacetyl. Great label terrible beer.

Appearance: Slightly cloudy amber with a medium sized off-white head and some lacing
Aroma: Caramel, biscuity and citrus
Taste: Toasted malts, nutty, caramel and citrus

Draft. Amber with a small ring of bubbles, not much lace. Nose of caramel, and light grapefruit and resin. Flavor is mild blend of the same. Light-medium body is watery and lightly tingly.

Pours a nice bright amber color. Aromas of grapefruit/pine with some roasty scents. Flavor is citrus mixed well with the sweet malt, finish

Draft: Light amber color with a modest head. Aroma is sweet, taste is malt dominated. Not much else really. Maybe a little bready. Sort of bland.

At brewery: Nice amber hue. Great-smelling caramel nose. Dry and bitter finish. Plant-like aroma. Malts weren’t as sweet as they smelled. Mostly just toasted grains and bread.

on tap-pours an off white head and amber color. Aroma is mild medium malt. Taste is medium malt-caramel, faint hops. Mild carbonation.

Sampled at the NABA 06 Fest: Amber color (wow, imagine that) with an off-white head and creamy lacing; retentive. The aroma has a light nutty and caramel character with a touch of drying hops. Not dry-hopped, but the hops that are present seem puckering in their bittering powers. Semisweet flavor that really lingers on the palate. Just about the right level of body for this, but it’s not very thought provoking in any case.
