1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Cask conditioned handpump Marquis London 05/07/13. An amber coloured beer. Not good. Vinegary acidity. Fruits. Reasonable enough body but the flavours are all wrong. This pub always has a Portobello or two on so even if this is the pubs fault the beer takes a hit for being here.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask handpull at Parcel Yard Kings Cross. Clear pale brown lasting beige head. Given that it is a bitter and it is a bitter then itís decent. Better than average as it has some ok malt in the middle of the flavour. Very drinkable and a good brown best bitter what lile we donít get anymore as everyone wants to do a new world hop golden ale.

Lovely amber ale. Banana, floral and grapefruit notes. I like a nice bitter finish, this didnít disappoint (and in fact was a bit over the top!) Still a very worthwhile pint that kept my tongue guessing.
