Cask conditioned handpump Marquis London 05/07/13. An amber coloured beer. Not good. Vinegary acidity. Fruits. Reasonable enough body but the flavours are all wrong. This pub always has a Portobello or two on so even if this is the pubs fault the beer takes a hit for being here.

At the Abbey in London...a biscuity ale, not the fruity, citrusy sort. Not my bag....

Angel Spoons. Cask. Bright clear gold beer, small off white head. Palate is smooth and light, mild fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts, drying. Hops provide a reasonable amount of juicy citrus. Trace of bubblegum ester. Light dry finish. Not too bad.

Half pint, well-kept cask ale at Fox & Anchor. Cloudy amber coloured body. Beige head, Mixed aroma of brown malts and grassy hops. Mid-sweet marmalade taste, bread and leafy hops. Nice bittersweet ending. Pleasing (London 26.09.2014).

50cl bottle from Morrisons, Bracknell. Amber with a white head; fruity orange aroma; fruity orange taste with a rather thin body; and some weak grassy hops and caramel to finish. A reasonable bitter.

Boottlee¿ i can drink Portabello beerz @ . .3 mins from my house @ good old Magpie saloon and though ive found their beer mundane thus far ,ironic that this is my fave of theirs as its not B-conditioned. Good orange hop nose with other shit too. Dark gold blah blah LOOK, its flavoursome and a bit like a US Amber .must be the opz

clear pale amber with dense white head. Unassuming nose, initial fruity yeast esters austere bitterness and biscuity snap in finish. Brief. Slight lemon perhaps. Medium body, gentle carbonation.

Blue Anchor, Hammersmith. Pale and hoppy. Boring. You’ve had lots of beers like this, and this one offers nothing special - indeed offers a little less than average.

Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 31 Jan 2013. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of freshly cut grass, caramel and crusty bread. Some citrus zest in the flavour, along with toffee and satsumas. Finish was quite dry, with cereal, resin and raisins.
