Cask-conditioned at the Beer Emporium, Bristol 3/9/2013. Golden with a slight white head. Sweetish with some heavily herbal hops, which reminded me of TCP. Not good.

Cask @ The Gunmakers, London, 29/08/13. Pours gold with a small head. Aroma is somewhat citrusy. Taste is citrus too, quite smooth. Not much here really. Light. Forgettable.

HogTownHarry (6042) - Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, CANADA - AUG 29, 2013
August 29, 2013 - hand-pull cask at The Gunmaker’s. clear gold with a small frothy white head. Simple golden ale - light grain, hint of apple, floral, no alcohol. Taste follows, quite grassy with an odd but not unpleasant grapeseed tang to it. Light, slick, astringent, mildly carbonated with a surprisingly medium-long dry grassy pithy finish. Solid.

Cask at the Windsor Castle - Kensington, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a fine, foamy white head. Nose carries some mild straw, biscuity pale malts. Light sweet flavor with a simple, pale and biscuity malt base, some light lemony and straw bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, some white bread, doughy pale malts, dry grassy bitterness. Fine golden ale.

jackl (4292) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - MAY 21, 2013
Cask at The Windsor Castle Kensington. Bright gold with a tiny white head. The nose is biscuit, soft summery citrus fruits. Lemon drizzle cake. A bit ’o pee. The taste is sugar cookie, juicy lemon meat. Dry citrus finish. Simple stuff, but eminently drinkable. Light body, soft. A nice golden. I have to admit that this brewery has continually exceeded my modest expectations.

Cask conditioned handpump Wellington London 30/04/13. A yellow coloured beer with a white head. Diacetyl blighted with bitter hops in the background. Does mellow after a while but the diacetyl is a bugger.

stravale (2035) - Near Carrick-on-Shannon, IRELAND - MAY 4, 2013
Cask @ Haymarket, Edinburgh [300413]
Blonde, clear, thin white head, good lacing
Aroma of citrus hops, soft lemon zest, light pale malts, light aroma
Taste of soft citrus hops, lemony, light sweet pale malts, lemon zest, nice easy citrus flavours
Palate - Thinnish body, bit oily, mouthfeel is fine. Soft bitter citrus lemon on palate and light sweet pale malts. Finish as main flavour, little dry, soft citrusy fruits more towards lemon.
Overall - Quite refreshing - good one to session
