Gravity at GBBF 2014. Poured a hazy ochre colour, with a thin white head. Aroma of cloves, mango and banana. Lychee and pineapple flavours, with some grain. Finish was yeasty, with some apricot and wheat.

Cask at the King’s Tun, Kingston upon Thames. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of clove, banana and bubblegum. Sweet finish. Somewhere between a German and Belgian wheat. One of the better cask conditioned versions.

Sampled @ GBBF day 2. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste are lightly hops, mainly herbs or spices, a slight touch of sweet-bitter. Average body and carbonation. Meh.

Cask handpull at the 2014 GBBF. Aroma is dull doughy wheat mineral sweet grains. Translucent pale yellow straw with a lasting white loose head. Flavour is doughy wheat grains, light tart, dull citrus. Palate is doughy moderate carbonation. Decent.

Aroma: wheats, light yeast, light caramel malts, hints of citrus. Appearance: hazy pale gold, small white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: yeasts again, light sweets coming up, average-long finish. Overall: quite a nice Wheat Ale, nice palate. Pint at Willow Walk, Victoria.

Scopey (6833) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 23, 2014
Cask at the Clachan, Soho. It pours cloudy golden with a thick white head. The nose is earth, barnyard, wheat, cat litter, spice and faint smoke. The taste is doughy, wheat, grain, hay, underlying sweetness and a touch of spice with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. A fairly ho hum wit.

Cask conditioned at The Chequers, Oxford. Cloudy yellow with white head. Full on wheat beer right from the off, no subtleties with this one, mashed, bruised banana flavours with pear drops and bubblegum. Not to my taste unfortunately.

Cask at Haymarket. Pours hazy yellow, thick white head. Light spice and bread aromas. Taste has a light lemon sweetness. Clean finish, OK.
