2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask at the Clachan, Soho. It pours cloudy golden with a thick white head. The nose is earth, barnyard, wheat, cat litter, spice and faint smoke. The taste is doughy, wheat, grain, hay, underlying sweetness and a touch of spice with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. A fairly ho hum wit.

Cask conditioned at The Chequers, Oxford. Cloudy yellow with white head. Full on wheat beer right from the off, no subtleties with this one, mashed, bruised banana flavours with pear drops and bubblegum. Not to my taste unfortunately.
