This was a fun beer fun to watch being made with all those brewers taking part. Fun to drink the launch party was a blast. It was a good old ale pun intended

Pours a Glowing brown with hazel highlights. The head is thin but sticks around for quite a while. Aroma is caramel malt, grain, bread, a flutter of roast, and resinous, bitter hops. Mouthfeel is relatively creamy, almost no perceptible alcohol. Flavor is full, rich maltiness, caramel, light booziness, lots of resinous, piney hops. For such a complex recipe, this turned out relatively simple, I was expecting something with a bit more complexity of flavor. Very drinkable brew though. Tasty, but I’ve had better from Portsmouth.
