A full bodied, unfiltered dark amber ale, brewed in the tradition of the Scottish highlands, is characterized by is its malty sweetness, and very light hopping. One of only a few beers that are full-bodied enough to "float" our Black Cat Stout in a black and tan.

Candy sugar in evidence…Assertive caramel malt…But too easy and shallow…

Nice cloudy ruby appearance with a decent head. Thick and chewy Scottish ale with a light but tasty peat smokiness and heavy caramelness. Tasted some apple wood as well? 22oz bottle was not enough.
