Oakes (6808), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 24, 2008 Bottle, from the brewery Golden-amber colour. The aroma shows a light fruitness (berry, lemon). A fresh, juicy, berryish beer, with some light toasty, caramelly malts. Fairly dry finish. Really quaffable, though to call it a mild is a serious stretch. Beershine (1131), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 18, 2008 Bottle. Warm, rich golden color with little head. Mild grain aroma with grass, bark, corn, brass, and soil. Nice soft mouthfeel. Nicely earthy with a hop kiss in the aftertaste. Earthy, hoppy mild--very nice session brew I could do more often. beerbuzzmontreal (2694), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jun 12, 2008 Cloudy amber pour with a thin white head. Good aroma of fruity, resinous hops. Good flavor of fruity, resinous hops. The body is light and oily while the carbonation is soft. Nice. VTHopHead (661), Barre, Vermont, USA May 26, 2008 Draft at the brewpub - Poured a nice golden amber in color with a small white head that faded quickly. Aroma was mild of hops and some maltiness. Flavor matched the aroma pretty closely with the hops asserting themselves a bit more than the malts. Nice piney hop finish.
