3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Shared by ericandersnavy. Pours a clear dark brown with some ruby along the edges. Just bubbles for head. Some strong roast malt with something like dark fruit for aroma. Near full bodied with mild carbonation. Flavor is quite malty, but it is not really sticky. Lots of hop to help balance the sweetness - but on average it’s a sweet sipper. A really pleasant drink, and the heat is just barely noticeable. Didn’t notice it til I thought about it! Really good drink. Mouthsmacking.
