Pours lighter than many of the style, closer to pale yellow. White head. Bready nose and some grassy hops. Less caramel than expected, but sufficiently malty. Some hay. Alcohol well hidden.

Bottle. Pours a nice amber pour with sizable head. Aroma of spices and lemons with added pepper and plum. Flavor of sugar, nuts, toast, herbs, and spice. Has a similar zesty lemon aspect to it. Fruits all over. Very good.

Draft at the brewery. Pours hazy medium brown with a thin white head. Tastes sweet and malty, strong with hints of apple and strawberry. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like slightly sour fruit, musk, and malt.

Cloudy copper color. Candied fruit on the nose, very much like peaches. Firm hops on the finish leaving a good bitter aftertaste.

Deep amber in color with a small white head.Aroma of dark fruit, alcohol and warming toasted malt. Fruit and spice flavor on top of a warming alcohol and malt body. A big version of a BdG, in fact bigger than I’ve had previously, almost a strong Belgian brown ale.

On tap at brewery. Ruby red pour, smallish head. Fruity aroma and flavor. Not at all what I expected...not at all right on the style, but tasty nonetheless. No real spiciness or dryness...just yeast and fruit. Still worth having.

On tap at brewpub. Served in a tulip glass. Poured a pretty apricot color with a slowly receding 1" white head. Lazy loops of lacing left behind. Aroma is sweet and fruity with yeasty highlights. Solid, syrupy palate with low carbonation. Random fruit like flavor with soft hints of vanilla and butter. Finish was a little bitter. No evidence of the 8.5% alcohol in the taste so beware. Very enjoyable.

On cask with styrians, Pour is a murkey golden. Aroma is spice, bread, very yeasty, nice crisp hoppiness. mouthfeel is warm, silky, no carb. Yum. Yeast is very prevalent, bubble gum, spice, earth abounds. delicious fresh earth hoppiness compliments the spicy yeast notes very well. very well done.

Sampled at Pre-Sex A: Pours a hazy orangish gold hue with a huge fizzy white head. Light retention with some spotty lace. S: Aromas of light citrus, summer fruit, and bready yeast. T: Caramel malt, doughy bread, citrus, yeasty, and light herbal hops. M: Medium in body above average carbonation.

Poured into a pint glass it came to me with a two finger white head that wasted away to a nice lace. The body of the brew was an apricot orange in color. I got typical aromas from the Belgian yeast plus I also had some wonderful spices. The flavor was slightly towards the sweet side with a light bitter finish. It had a light to medium feel in my mouth with good carbonation. I enjoy this brew and always grab a few while its on tap Serving type: on-tap
