Bottle. Hazy amber body with a medium white head. The aroma is caramel, spices, sweet malt and yeast. The flavour is sweet malt, yeast, spices and some fruit. Sweet fruity finish. Still quite refreshing.

Thanks to shellebrownies on BA! Nice earthy pour, pale gold, a healthy amount of sediment, and a roiling carbonation that seems fitting. Apple and bread in the nose, again more or less as expected. Palate is a bit underwhelming and the beer is thinner than desired. Also slightly bland to taste, with fairly generic bready malts, light fruit, and just a hint of bitter flavors to the finish. Decent but not much more than that.

Sampled at Pre-Sex A: Pours a hazy orangish gold hue with a huge fizzy white head. Light retention with some spotty lace. S: Aromas of light citrus, summer fruit, and bready yeast. T: Caramel malt, doughy bread, citrus, yeasty, and light herbal hops. M: Medium in body above average carbonation.

Thanks jdubfl for the share. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Nose is spice, herb, tartness, and pepper. Flavor is similar with some nice herb and spice notes and some mild smokey malts. Mild in flavor, and booze is well-hidden in this 8.5% beer. Medium bodied and interesting.

Pours lighter than many of the style, closer to pale yellow. White head. Bready nose and some grassy hops. Less caramel than expected, but sufficiently malty. Some hay. Alcohol well hidden.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of jleblanc. Pours a hazy deep golden with a small rough off-white head. Sweet fruity nose. Medium body, carbonation is a little low. Sweet fruits almost bonbonish. Hardly any yeast or bitterness. Just a sweet Belgian style ale, but pleasant alright. 230211

bottle at papsø clear orage, smooth white head. very faint aroma, flowery flavor is sweet fruity, nice bitterness, sweet malty. very nice, doesn’t really remid me of the biere de garde beers i’ve tasted so far. This one is better, less herbal and less grassy.

Courtesy of jdubFL. Pours copper with thin off white head. The aroma is spicy yeast, sweet malts and then growing tart and sour notes. The taste tart, mildly berry fruit tartness and some sour for a little while there. In the background is a consistent level of lemon tart candy.

Bottle: Cloudy orange pour with a dense off white head. Light acetic notes in the aroma- seems infected. Heavily carbonated- acetic appleish notes (maybe acetaldehyde). Mild bitterness. A bit off.
