Dogbrick (2166), Columbus, Ohio, USA Nov 10, 2007 On draught at the brewpub. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a medium thin light beige head that dissipates slowly. Thin sheets of lacing at the top of the glass with spots underneath. Mildly hoppy aroma with touches of caramel and malt. Medium-bodied and smooth with a lightly bitter hops character. Notes of flowers and toasted malt as well. The finish is short and mildly hoppy. Overall this beer is slightly above average. Tmoney99 (3429), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 3, 2007 Draft sample at Portsmouth. Poured dark amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate sour citrus hop aroma. Medium body. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of short duration. My expectations where met. OhioDad (2492), Hilliard, Ohio, USA Jul 23, 2006 On tap during Ohio Brew Week in Athens Ohio at Pigskins - Pours cloudy amber with a fair creamy offwhite head that stayed pretty good and laced some. Aromas of light floral hops and some grains and a touch of caramel. Flavor is pretty sharply hopped up front. Some grapefruit and tangerine notes blend to a fair malt balance and some caramel notes. Medium body and carbonated pretty well. Not bad. krisbierjaeger (837), dolores, Colorado, USA Jan 4, 2004 tangerine colored ale served in a pint glass, and typical of a brewpub pour, very little head survived the trip to my table. some delicate lace spider-webbed down the glass as i drank, however, so the product was attractive enough. very little aroma that i could discover-- though it wasn't for want of effort-- i believe i could smell the glass itself better than those nearly invisibly embedded cascades. agreeable taste, light fresh fruit, light sweetness, thin-bodied with some hopping across the finish. strictly a bar room quaffer, this one.
