(Draught) Pours a murky golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma of orange, lemon, wheat, coriander, and caramel. Malty base with flavors of citrus, banana, ginger, and clove.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. Light coloured yet very lacey. A bit of citrus. Decent witbeer, though not a style I am easily impressed with. This one is a bit better quality than many wheat beers and thus better drinkability.

On draught at the brewpub, August 2005 in a 10.5 oz snifter. By the time it made its way to the table, if there ever was any head, it was gone. There was a bit of whispy, white foam on the edges. Beer was thick-looking, syrupy, hazy but not much carbonation rising within. Smells sharp and acidic, with almost mead-like honey warmth, lots of fresh coriander, moderate yeastiness and some lemons. Flavor is very dry and very yeast driven. Chewy and thick on the malt, though this dosent exactly translate to the consistency, as it gets a little watery after warming some. Fresh green coriander, lots of it, plenty of yeast and white pepper-doughiness. Lemon peel, and lots of lingering acidity, with light bubble gum suggestions. Carbonation is very low, probably too low, as it could stand a bit more livliness (sp?). A pretty standard offering of this style which seems to be greatly growing in popularity here in the East. Neither brutish nor particularly elegant. Alcohol is well-concelaed, however.

Tap brewpub: golden with a white head. Sweet honeyish and estery aroma. Maltose honey flavor with a hint of acetaldehyde. Not really crisp or refreshing.

Tap at brewpub. Cloudy apricot pour. Nice frothy head that revives nicely. Nose of good wheat, orange peel, coriander, and a touch of booze. Flavor brings forth great citrus and good yeast and spice character. Good overall.

Hazy gold in color with a small white lacing that disapates quickly. Aroma of lemon, ginger and peppery spice with some cookie dough tossed into the mix. Flavor is tart, with some wheat tang, fruity and spicey. Medium/medium light body and interesting interpreattion of a style I’m not really familar with.

On tap at the brewpub. Murky golden amber with a tight, off white head. Strong citrus orange and coriander, tropical fruit sweetness. I liked this a lot, and brought a growler home. I don’t know why, but it got WAY hotter, pronounced alcohol. Best to have it right on tap.

I liked this more than the numeric rating indicates. It’s a little syrupy and fruity, but I can’t find fault with it. I thought it was tasty. Very light levels of spices. More like a wheat wine. Still, good.
