2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle... Mostly clear amber ale with a small, fat bubbled white head. Aroma-wise, I could pull absolutely nothing out of the glass. Medium to full-bodied with light carbonation. Beefy, grainy flavor that leans slightly bitter. Finishes lightly bitter, a hint astringent, and then dries out. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Ratebeer Spring Gathering. Deep amber pour. The aroma is nutty and lightly sweet. There is a bit of earthy sweetness with a bit of light spice. Flavour is a little bit watery but there is a nice light sweetness and a bit of bitterness. There is a light astringency, but it’s not bad.

Bomber- PPRBSG 09. Pours a deep copper light amber with a thin lasting head. Aroma is sharp cheesy hairy earthy aroma- floral hops, toasted sharp crystal malts, molasses sweetness. Flavor is sweet caramel, toffee, with floral hops, herbs, grass and earth, a bit metallic as well, along with some mineral bitterness in the end- Not bad.

Location: Draft at the Brewpub, 7/12/13, My 50th ESB tick!
Aroma: The nose has some rather light hop notes, caramel and nutty malts
Appearance: It pours a clear light amber color with a small head and not a lot of lace
Flavor: The flavor is light and clean, with a clean malt sweetness and a nice, light hop bitterness
Palate: The body is light, it has a nice, clean mouthfeel, and drinks quite easily
This is a nice, clean, easy drinking ESB. The nose and flavors lean toward the subtle side, but aren’t bad at all. I liked this one.
