Commercial Description:
One more big beer before the summer's heat is on. This Northern style pils is similar to the Friezland Helles style with a strong hoppiness & a touch of fruit.

Poured a lightly hazed golden color with a white head. Earthy and floral hops in the aroma and flavor. Sweet toasty cereal malt. Medium bodied.

Thanks to deftim13 for the sample at Lost Abbey. I have to admit, I’m not the biggest Pilsner guy out there...but this one delivered. Light but assertive, grainy and bready with a touch of bittering hops leading to a dry finish. Not mind shattering, but it was pleasant.

Courtesy TheCheeseMan. Pours a clear golden color, almost no head. Rousing produces thin white head. Heavily sweet grainy aroma, very light Saaz presence. Palate kind of dead - sweet grainy taste, mild dry finish. Not outstanding, but okay. The imperial pilsner seems kind of hard to do well.

Courtesy TheCheeseMan. Clear gold/copper with a thin white head. Aroma is biscuity, cereal grains and grassy, floral hops. Flavor is similar, adding some bitterness and some stale malt. Medium to medium/full body, balanced carbonation. Decent.

Pours a rich, crystalline copper. Aroma is sweet, with biscuity and ceral grain notes. Some floral, grassy and herbal notes peek out. Flavor is a bit muted. Some hops initially but the flavor slides into a syrupy finish.
