3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at the brewery. It’s not overly exciting, but it’s also exactly what a quaffable red ale should be. The malt flavor was good, caramelly, and a little toasty, and there was a little bit of hop bitterness in the background. Overall, it did the trick of washing down a Rueben sandwich extremely well.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Some alcohol in nose. Rich carmel malts tending towards molasses. Some earthy hop character in aroma too. Coppery red with respectable british style head. Good lacing. Nicely sweet with crystal malts character and just a touch of bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel. Quite nice.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber bottle fresh from brewery. Pours reddish amber with a bit of cloudy haze and a thick off-white head that subsides to a nice thin cover. Carmel sweet, slightly roasty, nutty malt aroma gives way to some citrusy hops and spicy notes. Flavor is surprisingly dry, but quite nice. The spice and roasty nut notes come through, as does the hop bitterness with just a bit of dry hop finishing character. Light-medium bodied, moderate carbonation, and quite smooth and creamy. Pretty nice beer!

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tastes of malt and "My First Homebrew Kit". Below par beer, unless your buddy had told you he made it. Then it would be average. Color was light brown not really amber and taste was of a malty pale ale with zero hopps. Pass.
