COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A robust, Irish-style stout with 75 pounds of rolled and steel-cut oats included in the mash. The oats add a creamy texture and velvety smoothness that help round out the roasted barley bite. Served nitrogen-conditioned for a thick, frothy head.

Cask@GBBF 2010. Black beer with a light head. The aroma is sour bread, and the flavour is bitter and weakly roasted. Overall an average weakly roasted beer.

Bottle… RBWG ‘10… Pours very dark with a small beige head that dissipates way too quickly for a nitrogen inculcated beer. Espresso and dark chocolate bouquet. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and conservative carbonation. The flavor is chocolaty and sweet, deeply roasted and nutty. Finishes chocolaty and then slowly fades away.

On Cask, dry hopped with saphir. Dark brown pour with a beige head.. Aroma is Chocolatey, cream, some light bittering hops. Mouthfeel is to die for, Creamy, smooth, Love the warmth of beer from the cask. Flavor is smooth milk chocolate, some lightly bitter hopping, lightly caramelized malt, some light oatmeal. Delicious really.

Pours dark brown to black with a brown head. The aroma is strong coffee with some cream in there as well. The flavor is more of the same with coffee, cream and chocolate as well as roasted malts. The mouthfeel is very creamy.

5th August 2008. On tap at GBBF. Slightly sour start. Doesn’t really have that oatmeal silkiness or smoothness. Very slightly fruity.

Black with a tan head that quickly fades. Aroma of chocolate, licorice, light oats and chalk. Flavor has lots of oat, light bakers chocolate, hint of roast, creamy. It’s a light, delicate flavor that doesn’t overwhelm. Very easy to drink.
