Pours gold into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Bread and caramel aromas. Soft with biscuit, hay and sourdough upfront turning dry in the medium length bitter earth finish.

Clean clear golden pour with faint white wisps of head on top. Aroma is light honey and toast notes. Slightly herbal hoppy notes. Straight honey malt up front with a clean bitterness. The malt really takes over before finally fading out and letting the bitterness show. Malt is a bit toasty, which keeps it from being too sweet. Nice, well balanced, nuanced. Lacking the depth that would lead me to come back to this repeatedly, but pleasant and refreshing.

Bottle 1 pint 6 oz. Pours blond with very low white head. Some lacing. Aroma is of pilsner malt, fruits, sulfur. Taste is of pilsner malt, fruits, spices. Palate: Light body, clean, crispy. Overall: Pretty good. Well executed pils.

bottle from brewery. pours hazy light and bright yellow with a nice white head, some retention and lacing. pils, wheat, lemon, pepper, light sulfur, winey, bitter herbs, slight alcohol feel - never disturbing. average to moderate carbonation, light body - oily, very nice herbal-citrusy-peppery finish. a very nice offering!

Bottle. Pours a clear bright yellow gold body with a one finger fizzy white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is really nice on the malt front, dry and crackery with a really clean well lagered aroma. The hops are a bit light though. Flavor wise, it’s really clean and crisp as well, nice clean malt base with moderately bitter noble hoppiness. Lingering crisp bitterness. Light bodied and easy drinking with a good bit of fizzy carbonation. Pretty nice overall, I could do with a little more hops in here though.

Enjoyed on tap at the source. Comes to the table in a tall pilsner glass a mostly clear deep golden straw color with a smallish bone white head that slowly dissipates. smells of bready pilsner malt with an earthy spicy floral hop presence. No off aromas no diacytyl. The flavor is a little sweet rich and malty with a solid hit of bready pilsner malt. Solid spicy earthy hop presence is forward enough to keep this brew interesting. Medium body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a sweet bready mouthfeel. This is a damn fine example of a Czech pilsner, I practically inhaled this brew.

Under carbonated on tap and a little watery. I like pilsners but this one didn’t due it for me this time. I did thoroughly enjoy the last batch though. I think the carbonation might have been off on the taps today

Draft @ brewpub on 28 Nov, 2012. Proper glassware. Perfectly clear yellow with lively carbonation. No head. Nose is mostly Saaz hops. Light bodied with a crisp hop bite up front that lingers over the pale malts into a dry finish. Very straight forward clone of Pilsner Urquell.

on tap-pours a tight foamy white head that laces and yellow color. Aroma is grain/musty wheat, secondary lemon. Taste is grain/musty wheat, secondary lemon/spice hops. OK carbonation.
