Golden pour. White head. Crazy aroma of ginger, lemongrass, limes and hops. Flavor is heavier on the lemongrass and ginger than hops. Damn this was a fun beer to drink for sure.

October Ď09 O-Town Throwdown, courtesy of Daknole. Pours cloudy golden, white head. Aroma of lemongrass, hops with a fresh bitter hops nose. Flavor, same as aroma, light lemongrass, thin bitter mouthfeel with hints of citrus, palate keeps some hints of spices / ginger. Tasty.

Herbal aroma. Really interesting flavor; the Thai herbs and spices come through big time. Itís like drinking liquid Pad Thai without the peanuts, and it is good!

Tap and Bomber at Brewpub. Pours a hazy gold yellow with a decent lasting white soapy head. Aroma is kafir lime leaf, spicy thai food, herbal, grassy and light wheat notes with phenolic hefe yeast. Falvor is dryw ith ltos of lime, thai character- light crackery wheat, light dough and peppery phenolic yeast, light vanilla and some clove. Pretty refreshing.

20080729 Tap at brewpub. Pale, hazy golden with tall white head. Mild sweet lime notes and a punch of ginger. Bit slick to finish. I liked this one best of the visit for its uniqueness and for how appropriate it seemed on this hot day.

Draught @ Portsmouth Brewpub. Cloudy dark gold with a decent, somewhat fluffy white head. Aroma is very citrusy - lemongrass is very noticable, with a very sweet malt character to complement. Taste is lightly sweet caramel with a crisp, spicey lemony citrus and a very restrained grassy, pilsner-like hop character on the finish. Mouthfeel is fluffy carbonation, with a nice, medium-light body. Beautifully done summer beer, I can’t imagine a better beer for a hot day.

I had this beer on tap at the brewery. Poured into a imperial pint glass with a nice two fingers worth of white head on top of a hazy golden yellowish brown body the head turns to a thin halo of lace around the glass Tons of lemon and lime aromas on this brew. Quite interesting a nice change for the summer The taste is very much like the nose you get the citrus lemon lime going for it along with some ginger. Nice and light on the tongue not much carbonation, I wish it had more. A very drinkable brew had a few for lunch. This is a Great refreshing brew on a hot day. A good blend of spices keeps it from getting dull in your mouth

Didnít expect to like this one much, as I usually donít like beers with multiple spice additions at lower gravities, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Itís not that the spices arenít prominent; they are, but the flavor they create really matches the sticky, honeyish malts and they sink in to the pillowy, chewy body and then are dispersed about the palate by the ample carbonation. Quite homogenized, as well, not being starkly citric, spicy or herbal, but rather zesty and refreshing, with a moderate sweetness and a strong note of bubblegum that was surprising.
Aroma dosent seem to be too strong or complex, allowing mostly ginger with a shade of lime, and very little malt depth.
But the flavor is clean, the body soft, yet attenuated enough for its gravity and lacking of any flaws.
Hazy blonde with some stronger copper tints and a medium-sized white head that laces minimally.
