22oz bottle, courtesy of argo0. Pours a golden orange with slight head. Significant aroma, showing wheat and lemon and what Aaron suggested to be lemongrass. Iíll take his word for it. Medium mouthfeel, some citrus, almost a seeming off-flavor suggesting plastic (?) also appearing in the nose. Something seems awry, but hardly horribly so. A simple, drinkable something.

On draft from the source. Hazy gold color with light head retention. Nose is spicy wheat and lemongrass. This is a light bodied beer with notes of lime, ginger, yeast and a light spice finish. Simple yet refreshing. Spice and hops make this a thirst quencher, decent.

20080729 Tap at brewpub. Pale, hazy golden with tall white head. Mild sweet lime notes and a punch of ginger. Bit slick to finish. I liked this one best of the visit for its uniqueness and for how appropriate it seemed on this hot day.

Herbal aroma. Really interesting flavor; the Thai herbs and spices come through big time. Itís like drinking liquid Pad Thai without the peanuts, and it is good!

Okay, everything in the description, I hate in a beer...but this wasnít half bad. Murky looking wheat beer. The taste was a not half bad american wheat base with a blend of odd spices, ginger was notable, but not overpowering. I canít say I really enjoyed it, but I expected to hate it as this style just isnít my thing. Worth trying.

On tap at the source. Pours a hazy straw yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is lemon grass, lime and wheat. Sweet flavor with a citrus taste, again lemon and lime, as well as a ginger spiciness. Medium bodied with very aggressive carbonation. Almost a lemon/lime soda, with alcohol.
