COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unfiltered, light-bodied American wheat ale is brewed with forty percent wheat malt and just enough hops for tangy, thirst-quenching refreshment. One of our most popular offerings, it is an excellent choice for those looking for a lighter beer.

Tap at brewery. Pours hazy gold with average, creamy off-white head; short retention and some lacing. Aroma is banana, cookie and cereal malts, cloves, floral hops, and light toast. Flavor is sweet, bready malts forward with supporting grassy hops, light fruit esters, herbs, and light grapefruit; dry finish. Light body and low carbonation.

Had on-tap @ Portsmouth Brewey yesterday evening. Pours a woody honey orange. Smells and tastes very yeasty, papery and tangy, just enough wheat, ending with a hint of grape skins and tapioca.

22oz Bomber... Pours a hazy yellow ochre color with small quickly dissipated head. Aromas are wheat, sweet malts and a touch of lemon. The palate follows the nose; wheat bread, touch of sweet honey malts, round medium bodied beer with a hint of tangy citrus. Not a bad beer, very drinkable and a good session beer for a BBQ but nothin special.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a small head. Weak nose, some grass and dough. Delicate flavor, some spice and butter. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Subtle off-flavors. Slightly bitter finish. Could be the beer was in poor condition; if not, then this recipe could use some work.

Pours hazy gold into a Weizen glass. White head quickly recedes to hug rim. Bubblegum and coriander aromas. Thin with sweet bubblegum upfront turning slightly sour before the lasting sour hay finish.

On tap at Portsmouth brewpub. Pours out a cloudy golden color topped with a small white head. Aroma was of wheat, grain, and a little lemon zest. Taste was much the same with the wheat leading the way.

On Tap at the brewpub. Yellowish and hazy. Nose is subdued. Very nice mellow, rounded flavors, balanced and smooth. Slight hop finish. Sweetness present in beginning rounds out with lingering malt/hop purity in finish. Decent
