Pour was hazy gold color with minimal head and lacing. Faint aroma of bananas. Mild wheaty base with a sweet fruity sweet presence. Smooth mouthfeel with mild carbonation. This reminds me of Bells Oberon, which is a good thing.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Glouglouburp (5572) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 20, 2009
In short: A light on taste but highly refreshing summer thirst quencher.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Cloudy yellow-blonde body topped by a small white head
In long: Light wheaty nose with a touch of lemon. Taste is light but very pleasant and refreshing. Some pineapples, crisp unsweetened wheat, some other topical fruits, a light lemon presence. Pleasant tartness. A little dryness despite the fruity flavours. Extra non-aggressive. I cannot give super high marks to a beer that is so light on taste. However this is not a bland beer and on the hot-day-refreshing scale this scores very high. This is certainly one of the best inoffensive thirst quencher beer I’ve had. Had this been available up north in my homeland of Montreal I would have drank this all the time during our hot summer days. All three of them.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ClarkVV (3579) - Allston, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 23, 2004
2004 draught. Bright golden color, quite cloudy as mentioned. Fairly typical american wheat appearance. Aroma is light and spicy, some hops, light yeast. Flavor is thick and chewy wheatiness, moderate citrus notes and moderately sweet. Finish changes things up and becomes dry and lightly astringent. Pretty interesting flavors, but none of them are terribly powerful or lingering. Medium body, quite effervescent.
