A rather drinkable plain lager to go along with a nice steak with some friends in old brewing atmosphere.

On tap at portugalia restaurants. Its a quite usual lager, similar to sagres, corny aroma and typical head, texture and carbonation.

From tap at Vasco Da Gama location, signposted as Beer Deck, outside with a view to the water in 26 degrees sunshine. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is cornish and crisp grassy. Bitter, citrusy and grassy hops flavoured. Bitter, cornish and dry crisp finish.

De barril. Clear golden. Medium white head, good lacing. Hops and grass with grainin aroma, light maltiness. Good mouthfeel. Medium hoppiness, grass, bit sweet flavour, lightly malted, bit dry. Rather boring but fresh and nothing that gives horror to my tongue.

On tap at Portugalia, Vasco da Gama shopping center, Lisbon. Sweet cereals, corn flakes and barley. Some bittter hops in the mix, but it ends up too sweet. A grainy body means some texture, but this is hardly the stuff to build a chain of family restaurants around.
