(bottle) very hazy golden colour with no head. aroma of heavy clove, cinnamon and apple sauce, slightly tannic and woody, with a light touch of vanilla and chestnut honey. flavour is mostly the same, lots of apple juice and clove, with some subdued notes of vanilla, caramel and a slightly tart finish. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

[Bottle] Sampled at Cider Summit Chicago 2015. Labeled as ’Heisser Mulled Cider’. Aromas of apple brandy, clove and nutmeg. The taste is a mix of cinnamon red hots and sauerkraut spices. Apple pine, cinnamon and hints of fruitcake as well. I get more sauerkraut notes as I drink it. Despite this description, I actually warmed up to it. More flavor than their original ’Pure Cider’ for sure.

Aroma: apple, weak spices; Appearance: clear yellow, no head; Taste: intense sourness, slight sweetness; Palate: light body, watery texture, abrupt finish, soft carbonation Nothing special, not very spicy... If U have no other available then you can drink it.

Bottle. Gold, no head and minimal condition. (Cold) Apple and cloves initially on the nose, with a woodiness and a suggestion of vanilla and possibly marzipan. In the mouth it is very sweet and soft but with a low clove spiciness, finish is brief with a slight apple note and some spirity alcohol. Heat makes it a more palatable proposition, still not great, but the flavours work better together, and the heady alcohol and spice fumes gives it a nice warming kick.

1000ml screwtop bottle. 1) Chilled off the patio. Thin-misted white gold with no head and negligible carbonation. Huge clove and powdered ginger aroma. Difficult heavy mulled flavour awash with earthy clove, incense ash, fruit chews, background fruit with a weak tang of funky acidity. Probably best appreciated warm on a cobbled German market place freezing your tits off. 2) Warmed- much nicer.

Nice tart beginning, cinnamon and other nice spices follow fast. The mainpart is fullbodied, slightly sweet, nice fruity apples that harmonise fine with the Christmas-spices. Aftertaste is long, not too sweet, cinnamon-spicy apples. --> very nice Glühwein!! 12/13/13/14

Bottle shared with McTapps. Not a bad one due to dominating apples and some nice herbs in.

Tried warm and cold. While it was a little bit strange drinking it cold, it was really nice when it was warm. It surely is a great option to replace the regular Glühwein made with red wine. Taste of apples, cinnamon, cloves and christmas.

Bottle. Lightly hazy gold. Aromas are baked apple and raisins with festive spices. Caramel notes with lemon and orange rind. Light alcohol with hints of brandy. Flavours are sweet stewed apple with caramel and warming spices. Tastes headier than it is. Nice
