johndoughty (1516), cheslyn hay, England Apr 20, 2008 Bottle. Golden brown and slight fruity
but lacked any real flavour.Disappointing. emacgee (848), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Apr 18, 2008 had this some time ago. copper pour, spicy sweet aroma. dont remember being too impressed with it. Spicy meaty, overly nutmeg and sweet. mgermani (500), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Apr 15, 2008 Pours a crystal clear amber with a small head. Aroma of pumpkin pulp & light corn. Tastes of pulpy pumpkin, hops, very faint spicing, nothing particularly remarkable. Thin body with ok carbonation. I think the hops stand out in this particular pumpkin ale, but otherwise not too remarkable. Thanks to G for the taste! ELab2 (38), USA Apr 13, 2008 I enjoyed this. Nice size head off the pour. Gave off a really nice pumpkin pie aroma. Dark amber color. Had a similar pumpkin pie flavor. The pumpkin wasn’t overwhelming and there were nice hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and clove. bottle Doppelganger (1000), Oxford, England Apr 3, 2008 Bottle, from Fin. Thanks mate! Warm copper, small white head. Spice-forward aroma: cloves, cinnamon, ginger. Not sure if I smell pumpkin, but pumpkin pie spices for sure. Light caramel sweetness and a touch of biscuit. Bright carbonation, lingering clove. Nice substantial mouthfeel. Rather good.
