Dec 17, 2008 Pours a transluscent amber color with nice fluffy white head. The nose is malty sweetness with pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Flavor is savory pumpkin and yeasty dough. Finishes crisp with a slight cinnamon after taste. Better than the others I had this fall.

Dec 10, 2008 Bouteille de 355ml, acheté au LCBO de Rideau et King Edward, le 29 novembre 2008. Orange cuivrée, mince collet. Arome d,orge malté, citrouille légèrement épicé avec petite touche de cannelle. Goût un peu végétal, citroulle pas très épicé, avec un peu de malte roti et une très faible amerturme. Bien qu,elle n,est très savoureuse, elle est une bonne example de sa sorte!

Dec 2, 2008 Pours a red orange with a nice white head. Faint malt aroma with some metallic. Flavor of roasted malt and slight spice with a metallic alcohol finish. Decent but not my favorite.

Nov 27, 2008 Clear dark orange with big fluffy off-white head that thins quickly. Aroma is a pleasant strong pumpkin cinnamon nutmeg. Taste is a light but spicy, dry, nutmeg pumpkin.A bit disappointing after the aroma but very refreshing and easy to drink.

I tried this beer on November 19, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent orange-red with a very thin very short-lived white head. The aroma is malty with pumpkin and spicy notes (cloves and nutmeg). The mouthfeel was medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour was primarily malty with some definite spiciness and a hop-laden finish. Better than the Great Lakes Pumpkin ale in my opinion.

Nov 19, 2008 This ale poured a nice dark orange colour with a quickly disipating bright white head. To the nose there are scents of pumpkin, allspice, cinnamon and dough. First taste was crisp with a watery finish. Flavours of pumkin and spices mostly, with a slight flavour of cinnamon towards the end. Finish is slightly sweet and tangy with a little hopp bitterness lingering.

Nov 1, 2008 Pours a bright pumpkin colored orange with a very think white head. Very light hints of pumpkin and spice on the nose, and a bit of malt. Flavor is subdued and not the least bit pumkiny. Finish also lacks much pumpkin (and with a weird bitter metallic note) ... If I hadn’t read ’pumpkin ale’ on the bottle, I honestly would have thought it was just a rather dull red lager. Very disappointing.

Oct 31, 2008 Pour is a copper with a large white head. Aroma is a decent amount of cinnamon and nutmeg. Flavor is a whole lot weaker. Low in spice and low in pumpkin. The ending is very watery and weak. Compared to Schlafly pumpkin this is not even in the same ball park.
