| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 14, 2008 Very nice pour, a clear shiny penny body with lots of bubbling helping to sustain the dense creamy head. The aroma is some generic sweet malt with muted pumpkin pie spice and squash aromas. In the flavor the spices are dull and come across as bitter rather than flavorful. The pumpkin is hard to detect. Hopefully this is the only "new" pumpkin beer that will cross my path this season.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 13, 2008 Pours copper with white head.
Aroma is all pumpkin and spices.
Taste is similar, pumpkin spices (cinnamon and nutmeg), light matls and plenty of spices to go around. It is not too overwhelming but much nice than many other pumpkin ales. Good subte mix of the spices, make this one a light beer, easy to drink. thornecb (1753), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Pours amber into a shaker. White head subsides to hug rim. Pumpkin pie aromas: cinnamon and nutmeg. Crisp, sweet and dry with a lasting pumpkin finish. joekfsu (138), Boardman, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 12, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear copper with 3 cm foamy, offwhite, slowly diminishing head. Aroma of pumpkin pie and nutmeg. Initial flavor of bread, very bland. Taste gets dry and kinda clovey. Moderate carbonation, moderate lacing, light body, and no alcohol noted. Overall, after the aroma, this beer is not very good. But it does smell awesome. 17thfloor (1452), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 11, 2008 Pours a clear glowing dark orange/amber with a nice medium foamy beige head. Strong aroma of nutmeg and hot cinnamon with some pumpkin and a sour cereal malt base. The base is very biscuity, a bit sweet, heavily spiced, the pumpkin flavor is overwhelmed and a bit bland. Huge clove-like finish. Not bad, however it really makes one appreciate the really "good" pumpkin beers. Medium body with a little bit of consistency from the pumpkins, really nice smooth carbonation. It is a well made beer. kassner (441), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA

A little course bitter aftertatse but finishes clean AllAboutStout (605), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 7, 2008 Pours a light brownish orange in color. Decent inch of head on the pour that sticks around for awhile. Smell is spice and a good amount of pumpkin. Taste is even more of the pumpkin flavoring. Medium mouthfeel and easy drinking. Decent amount of pumpkin flavoring, but could use a bit more spice. Chia (42), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
