Zaprozdower (41), Boone, North Carolina, USA Dec 13, 2007 Pours amber with a creme colored head. Spicy, strong aroma but a balanced malty and hop taste. Flavor could have used some more spices for a pumpkin ale but went done easily. Good beer for 50% off due to the chronological distance from October. Fin (3382), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Dec 13, 2007 Bottle from Tesco, Aylesbury 13-12-07 ) quite shocked to see this in Tesco to be honest Poured copper coloured with an off white head. Tasted much better than I expected. I was anticpating something very sweet and spicy but found this to have a pretty good hop definition, and quite bitter, yes there was sweetness but it sat below and didn’t ruin things, pretty good. TikiE (360), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Dec 8, 2007 Not a big fan of the spiced beers, but this pumpkin ale isnt to bad. As you would think it tastes like straight up pumpkin. Pours golden brown, and stays on the palate for awhile with a longing pumpkin taste. My favorite pumpkin beer. Collint (452), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Dec 8, 2007 12/09/07 12 oz bottle, thanks JBass. Poured light little head. light amber color. Tasty pumpkin even though i don’t like pumpkin beers. Not bad, thanks Jbass Maverick34 (690), New York, USA Dec 1, 2007 Bottled. Pours honey with a massive, thick, stubborn head. Aroma is spices, and yeah - you guessed it, pumpkin. Taste is same w/a nice bit of hops. jhliesen (403), West Melbourne, Florida, USA Dec 1, 2007 Bottle--Bright amber/brown color with a small head that disappears. Strong aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg and pumpkin. Easily the strongest pumpkin aroma of any pumpkin beer I’ve tasted this year. Too bad the flavor isn’t as strong, in fact, the beer was pretty thin with lots of carbonation. Not great, nice to drink though. Asheville Wine, 1.40 Hangover (764), Atlanta, USA Nov 29, 2007 Dark copper pour with a very thin, but lasting tan head. Spicy aroma with nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon and pumpkin. Pretty agressively carbonated and not quite medium bodied. Flavor isn’t as spicy as the aroma, but a lot more bisquit/dough maltiness does come through. Finishes a bit sour, lingering ginger flavor. Not really that great. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA Nov 25, 2007 Clear burnt orange, little head. Mellow pumpkin spice aroma with toasted cracker. Sharp spice flavor, really showcasing cinnamon, followed by tangy malt and pumpkin. Ok body. Not bad for a pumpkin beer.
