| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Bottle--Bright amber/brown color with a small head that disappears. Strong aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg and pumpkin. Easily the strongest pumpkin aroma of any pumpkin beer I’ve tasted this year. Too bad the flavor isn’t as strong, in fact, the beer was pretty thin with lots of carbonation. Not great, nice to drink though. Asheville Wine, 1.40 Hangover (765), Atlanta, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 29, 2007 Dark copper pour with a very thin, but lasting tan head. Spicy aroma with nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon and pumpkin. Pretty agressively carbonated and not quite medium bodied. Flavor isn’t as spicy as the aroma, but a lot more bisquit/dough maltiness does come through. Finishes a bit sour, lingering ginger flavor. Not really that great. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 25, 2007 Clear burnt orange, little head. Mellow pumpkin spice aroma with toasted cracker. Sharp spice flavor, really showcasing cinnamon, followed by tangy malt and pumpkin. Ok body. Not bad for a pumpkin beer. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 18, 2007 Bottle. Copper-orange with a white bubbly head.
Aroma is spicy- ginger and mild pumpkin, rye bread and caramel notes.
Decent body- quite spicy and sharp with alcohol notes. Almost harsh at times with prevailing cinnamon and pumpkin flavours. It’s ok, not really that interesting though. brigg (216), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 16, 2007 Updated: Nov 29, 2007(bottle) Clear, rich amber body with a very small off-white head. The aroma is dominated by cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg, but pumpkins are there as well. The flavor is much the same: very spicy with cloves and cinnamon, pumpkin. But the spiciness lingers a little too much in the aftertaste. It is sort of warm and comforting in a winter beverage kind of way, but I think it is a little too strong for my liking. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 16, 2007 Bottle. Faintly smells like a pumpkin pie.
Also tastes slightly like a pumpkin pie, not overpoweringly spicy. Easy drinking with a smooth finish. dmac (1442), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 11, 2007 12 oz bottle. Pours an orange/rust color with a small creamy light beiger head that quickly disappears and needs some vigorous agitation to keep it going. Aroma of pumpkin rinds, brown sugar, and a big malt background. Light body compared to the big creamy carbonated bang tht fills your whole mouth. Medium finish. Flavor of earth, cinnamon, silght pumpkin and malts. Big mouthfeel is kind of odd but a decent pumpkin ale. NPRugby11 (82), New York, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Nov 6, 2007 The aroma of this is that of a good pumpkin pie...which lured me into something that literally tasted like pumpkin mashed with hops, water, and CO2. I like pumpkins and pumpkin pie...but pumpkin beer? That’s a little too far
