-A veil of foam settles atop the clear, light orange.
-An attractive spicy pumpkin pie perfume showcases plenty of nutmeg and pumpkin seeds.
-The first half of the sip exhibits the aforementioned pumpkin pie flavors, but the last half is not as outgoing.
-The lean body is very drinkable, but watery passages make it too thin to my liking.
What if you dig deeper?
-The feeble finish is aqueous and boring.
-A little more maltiness in flavor and body would have been nice.
-Spices aren’t overdone in this well-balanced flavor profile.
-This is a pumpkin ale obviously made for sessions and novelty lovers. I don’t think you win from being overly critical with this beer.

The amber color screams Halloween and the taste is even better.
Rich taste yet very smooth finish with a solid head,
It’s hard to wait for this beer to be brewed, year after year.
Pumpkin spices are pungent in this fine amber ale.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 23, 2006 Decent brown sugar, ginger, allspice, nutmeg, and clove aroma. Could smell all of these, but all were weak. Smelled watery. Good long finish with a taste that rests on the tongue. Seemed a bit thin. I would’ve like more malt and spiceness in this one. Probably could drink a lot of these at a tailgate party. Wouldn’t get drunk as fast. tomthompson89 (1473), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
