The aroma is of the usually list of spices but this beer has the body that many pumpkin ales are lacking. One of my favorites but still never as good as i remember it/ want it to be from the previous year. BeerHeadBobby (142), In Hiding.., Florida, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 26, 2006 Pours orange with an off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin pie and some cloves. Tastes almost like a normal amber ale, a hint of pumpkin and bitterness. Dry finish, average palate. lagermonkey (597), Marietta, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 26, 2006 Pours a very clear pale orange with a thin tan head. Smells strongly of pumpkin spice, clove and nutmeg mostly. Some sweet malty aromas as well.
Tastes lightly tart (surprisingly). Lots of pale malt breadiness then the spices and a nice clean finish. Crisp and dry and surprisingly full bodied. Decent drinker but nothing to write home about. MacDaddyOJake (274), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2006 Decent pumpkin flavor, but a bit over spiced. Almost an assault of pumpkin on your tongue. I guess it could be a good thing if you like pumpkin, a lot! All and all, it was good, maybe much better if in season. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

Golden orange pour with a decent white head. Spicy, spicy nose - lots of nutmeg. Good malty pumpkin flavors, plus more of the nutmeg and a cinnamon undertone. Finish is lively, leaves the tongue singing. I’d love this stuff in the season. eaglefan538 (2358), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2006 A decent, but not great pumpkin ale. This one poured a nice amber-orange color. The head was short lived and the lacing only minor. The aroma was spicey and caramel-like. The flavor was much of the same with pumpkins playing a minor role. The spicing was the strongest feature of this beer, kinda like the nutmeg took the place of a fairly strongly hoppped beer. Again, pretty good. HenrikSoegaard (4321), Randers, Denmark
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 29, 2006 Bottle. Creamy white fair mostly deminishing head. Moderate malty aroma. A little fruit detected. Week flavor a little bitter and salty. Watery palate. Not good beer.
