Commercial Description:
Bottle; Filtered.
Post Road Pumpkin Ale is a revival of a beer brewed by the early American colonists. Pumpkins were plentiful, flavorful and nutritious and they blended nicely with barley malt. Hundreds of pumpkins are blended into each batch of Post Road Pumpkin Ale, creating a beer with an orange amber color, warm pumpkin aroma, biscuity malt center and crisp finish. Post Road Pumpkin Ale is spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Flavored bud light. But i have to be honest. I have never tasted bud light. No head. No buzz. No taste, dry finish.

Bottle. Amber colour with no head. Spicy pumpkin aroma and taste. Medium body and a light dry finish. Strange.

spicey, pumpkin pie smell. tastes like a mix of bud light and pumpkin pie. only faint pumpkin though, mostly the spices from the pie, like the nutmeg and a dash of cinnamon. good though. not the best BK has given us though.

Slightly phenolic cinnamon aroma. Medium orange-brown, big head, bad label. This was a very drinkable beer, dry and fruity. Medium body. Light burn on the finish and not too bitter. Finish is malty. Loses CO2 and goes a bit flat. Balanced for a class of brew that gets a little ham-handed in the nutmeg department sometimes. Picked this bottle up from a Bleeker St market in NYC on the first HHR trip, early Oct 2005.

Bottle. Clear, bright orange color and a small head. Pumpkin is present in both aroma, flavor and palate. I like it in the aroma and palate, but it’s weird in the flavor.

Bottle. - Golden amber colour. Spicy and slightly toasty nose. Very spicy taste, with a clear taste of pumpkin and the spices used to brew it, finishing with a pretty distinctive drynesss.

Bottle. Pours a pretty amber color with minimal head. Aroma was lightly spiced. Good flavor, though the pumpkin seemed lighter than other pumpkin brews I had tried. Defiantly makes this brew less of a gimmick than many other pumpkin beers. Smooth finish, feels good on the ol’ palate. Not the best pumpkin I’ve had on the basis of it being a pumpkin beer, but a solid brew in its own right.

Pours a deep copper amber with a nicely-lacing, puffy off-white head. Has a dry earthy pumpkin spice aroma with a touch of breadiness. Body starts with a malty palate, but not much sweetness, a touch of cinnamon and a dry earthy pumpkin finish with a subtle hint of tartness. A very drinkable and balanced brew.
