turbothy (717), Bonn, Germany Oct 25, 2005 Clear orange/copper colour with little in the way of a head. Fruity aroma, sweets and cinnamon flavour. No discernible pumpkin, but quite good and refreshing nonetheless. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark Oct 24, 2005 35.5 cl bottle. No yeast in bottom. Smells very much like pumpkin. This is definately not my type of beer. To much ugly flavour of pumpkins. jrob21 (1252), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 22, 2005 a nice seasonal beer. the pumpkin is not overpowering. neither is the taste or complexity. punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA Oct 22, 2005 This is not a bad pumpkin ale. It reminds me a bit of Shipyard’s Pumpkinhead, however, it has more of a pumpkin taste to accompany that strong cinnamon aftertaste. An enjoyable beer for the holidays. Go have one! PorterPounder (3132), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Oct 19, 2005 Jax Package Store, Sandy Springs, Ga. - 12 oz bottle. Medium orane pur, little to no head, quite transparent. Aroma is very prominent with hints of potpourri, Christmas spices and cinnamon - fades slighlty as it settle. Flavor has the same spiciness and has a bit of a Wassel twang to it. Reminds me of Christmas - may actually taste good heated up. Mouthfeel is a tad thin. Decent. anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Oct 18, 2005 Bottle. Amber in colour. Has a tan head that disappears quickly. Aroma of pumpkin and nutmeg, also some cinnamon. Has a pumkin taste and also taste of nutmeg and cinnamon. Has a sweet finnish and a spicy aftertaste. outerupt (133), Richmond, Virginia, USA Oct 18, 2005 Nothing against pumpkin ales in general but this one seems more of a "pumpkin pie" ale than a traditional pumpkin. Far too much nutmeg persists from start to finish while pumpkin is barely evident. Unimpressive color and weak body to match. Unpleasant organic finish. Megan (101), Durham, North Carolina, USA Oct 16, 2005 Had in the bottle at lunch at Foster’s, and pretty sure we had at the Beer Fest. Very clovey aroma and taste. Pretty good.
