3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Iíve had a few Pumpkin beers out of season, but it seemed that the season was gaining on me and I felt almost compelled to pull this POS off the shelf. The label disguised its gruesome face and I was offered no delight in the taste of pumpkin from this ale. In other words- itís a trick but no treat. If you want a good pumpkin ale, get a Dogfish and not this shite.

3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear opulent brass in color with some rising fizz lines running vertically from bottom to top and a thin ice sheet serving as the head. Aroma is right where I want it to be - rich pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar and a touch of pralines. If aroma were ever an aphrodisiac, this would be it. Itíd all be for naught though, as the flavor is a major turn off. Cinnamon and nutmeg lead this charge, first and foremost. Pumpkin backdoors it on the follow through. Thereís a tin twang that seers at the dactylic senses, kind of like licking the innards of the can of pumpkin clean. Medium bodied and fizzy, and effervescence is too much. Finishes like pumpkin pancakes and maple syrup distorted by acid. Nevertheless, Iím happy to have tried it - thanks for the bottle, Thaichile.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Ultra fast disappearing head, clear amber color. Quite sharp aroma of pumpkin and spices, nutmeg. Vague roasted malt aroma with caramelly notes and tones of spices. Extremely sparkling and sharp in the mouth. Dissapointing.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Amber with small head. Certainly spicy (nutmeg and cinammon - didnít know at the time of drinking that those spices are actually in the beer!), pumpkin sweetness. In "my" part of the world, where halloween only exist in american movies, this beer would work well come christmas. Well made, just not my thing.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Amber pour. Big pumpkin and spice aroma, with the nutmeg and pumpkin aromas fairly well balanced. Not much pumpkin in flavor - mostly malt and clovy spice, which made it feel unbalanced. A touch acidic.
